Crystal Palace, especially after losing Michael Olise to Bayern Munich, are looking for attacking reinforcements this summer, and the ever-reliable Fabrizio Romano, speaking exclusively to GIVEMESPORT, has revealed that Juventus’ Matias Soule is a target, though his €40 million price tag may prove to be a stumbling block.

Losing a player of Olise’s caliber and then replacing him is no simple task. Not only that, but Palace’s revival under manager Oliver Glasner has provided them with the necessary stepping stone to becoming a regular presence in the top half of the English top flight, and acquiring the services of a player of Soule’s caliber would improve their chances of doing so.

Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio recently revealed that Soule is unlikely to stay in Turin beyond the summer transfer window due to the increasing interest in his services. Soule, looking to acquire finance for their own purchases, could be on the Old Lady’s chopping block.

Also admired by a Steve Cooper-led Leicester City, the right-winger appears to have the pick of the teams this summer, with reports claiming that the Foxes have offered a £21 million deal to reinforce their return to the Premier League.

Aston Villa is also monitoring his position. Last season, the young Argentine had a successful loan spell with Italian team Frosinone in Serie A, scoring 11 goals and providing three assists.

Sealing a deal for the brilliant 21-year-old will not be easy, considering the tremendous rivalry for his signature, but with an Olise-shaped hole to fill on the right flank, Palace may be better off striking while the iron is hot and moving quickly.

Talent scout Jacek Kulig previously labeled one of Soule’s goals as ‘Messi-esque’, implying that he is a player capable of creating magic.

Speaking exclusively with GIVEMESPORT, Romano stated that Soule, 21, is a player on their radar as they look for prospective alternatives for Olise. Juventus’ €40 million price tag, however, may be too much for the Eagles, especially given that West Ham and Leicester are also fans of the Mar del Plata-born star. He said:

“Another player they’ve been watching is Matias Soule,

but Juventus wants €40 million for him. West Ham United and Leicester City are also interested, but €40 million is a large sum of money, therefore it will not be simple. And I anticipate Crystal Palace to do something because Oliver Glasner, aside from obviously signing Daichi Kamada, wants one more player.
