Leeds' Marc Roca completes Real Betis loan move - The Athletic

The Italian journalist stated via X on Friday (28 June) that the midfielder will remain at Real Betis after spending last season on loan with the club.

This comes as a huge boost for the Whites ahead of the new season.

They earned a much-needed financial boost at the expense of a player who was no longer a key member of the group.

Marc Roca had little to do with Leeds’ promotion campaign last season, and the Whites proved that they could cope without him.

As a result, getting him off the books benefited everyone involved.

That money can now hopefully be used toward new signings as Farke and his players look to go again in the Championship next season.

Leeds fans must now say goodbye to Roca, although they are unlikely to do so with sadness.

In other Leeds United news, a transfer update for Diego Llorente has come from Spain.
