Breaking: Chicago Blackhawks signs Bookmaker as first jersey patch sponsor.

The Chicago Blackhawks have become the latest major league US sports team to explore revenue potential in the betting sector.

The National Hockey League (NHL) franchise has collaborated with Circa Sports, an online sportsbook business that is licensed in Illinois, Iowa, Colorado, Nevada, and Kentucky.

Circa Sports is the sister online site to the Circa Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, which houses the largest retail sportsbook in the United States.

By collaborating with the Blackhawks, the company hopes to get more prominence for its online service as it competes in a web-based betting industry dominated by FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM.

Circa Sports CEO Derek Stevens stated, “Growing up as a hockey fan, I’m overwhelmed with the opportunity and responsibility that comes with collaborating with an Original Six team and the team with the most famous home jersey in sports.

“We are ecstatic to showcase the new Blackhawks jersey with such a young and exciting team.”

The multi-year arrangement will increase CIrca Sports’ visibility in both its home state and beyond. The firm’s emblem will appear on the Blackhawks’ home jerseys beginning with the 2024/25 season, with Circa Sports serving as jersey patch sponsor.
