Hearts are set to sign Musa Drammeh

The Spaniards released the Gambian after a ten-goal season with their B squad in the fourth tier of Spanish football. He became a free agent and is now ready to become Steven Naismith’s new summer signing. The 22-year-old can play as a centre forward or on either wing, and insiders have told Football Scotland that he will add something new to the team’s roster while also having room to grow.

Drammeh was connected to English Championship clubs such as Sunderland, Cardiff City, and Birmingham City late last year and early this year. The Black Cats had an offer rejected, therefore the midfielder stayed with Sevilla Atletico to finish the season, but he has already been freed. Drammeh joined Sevilla at the age of 19 after previously playing for Extremadura.

Hearts will return to pre-season training this week, followed by a warm-weather training camp in Tenerife next month. He has already added several players to his roster, including Blair Spittal, James Penrice, Ryan Fulton, and Daniel Oyegoke.

Yan Dhanda of Ross County is anticipated to be named shortly after signing a pre-contract. More additions are likely, notably Costa Rican right-back Gerald Taylor, although there may also be departures.
