Raiders sign Andrus Peat; OL started 102 games for the Saints - Rampartinspections

After selecting two offensive linemen in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Raiders are adding another quality player to their lineup.

The Raiders are reportedly signing Andrus Peat, a former offensive lineman for the New Orleans Saints, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport.

Peat has been a member of the New Orleans Saints for all nine of his NFL seasons. In 12 of the team’s 16 games played last season, he got the start. He played 715 snaps at left tackle, 89 at left guard, and five at tight end, per Pro Football Focus. Peat’s primary position had been left guard until the previous season.

He had a 60.2 overall grade from PFF, a 54.5 pass-blocking grade, and a 62.1 run-blocking grade.

Peat started all 11 games in which he played the previous season.

Despite playing in just 13 games per season in 2018, 2019, and 2020, Peat was selected to three consecutive Pro Bowls.

Peat made 102 starts throughout his 111 games as a Saint.

Peat was chosen by New Orleans with the 13th overall pick in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft.

Another signing that gives the Raiders’ offensive line variety is Peat. His versatility as a left guard and left tackle will be essential for the Raiders, who now have a wealth of offensive linemen to choose from.

Peat, Kolton Miller, Dylan Parham, Andre James, Thayer Munford Jr., Cody Whitehair Jackson Powers-Johnson, DJ Glaze, Jordan Meredith, Jake Johanning, Ben Brown, Clark Barrington, Will Putnam, Jalen McKenzie, Dalton Wagner, and Andrew Coker are those currently in the offensive line room for Las Vegas.
