WNBA rookie Caitlin Clark stepped on the professional hardwood for the first time in her career. The No. 1 pick by the Indiana Fever in the 2024 WNBA draft has been truning heads for the past year, and she’s finally shown what she can do on the professional level.

The Fever have yet to play a regular season game, but Clark took over in the teams first preseason matchup of the season. She score 21 points, shooting 5-13 from three against the Dallas Wings on Friday.

As she headed into the draft as one of the most anticipated prospects in league history, many were wondering if she can translate her game to the professional level.

Clark proved that she belongs on the court with the best of them and she’ll be able to make an immediate impact for the Fever and WNBA.

She proved all the doubters wrong in just her first game.
