Diehard Packers fan Lil Wayne is hyped for ‘Monday Night Football’ game vs. the New York Giants

Lil Wayne is loving the Green Bay Packers in 2023.

And if you didn’t know by how much he’s been featured during Packers games this season, the legendary rapper is one of the team’s biggest celebrity fans.

The longtime Packers supporter tweeted out a “Go Pack Go!!!!” chant, the team’s rallying cry ahead of Green Bay’s “Monday Night Football” game against the New York Giants.

It’s not rare for the award-winning rapper to give the Packers a shoutout before games.

But you can guarantee we’ll be hearing more of him as the Packers keep winning.

It was Lil Wayne who set the stage before the Packers’ game against the Kansas City Chiefs on “Sunday Night Football” last week.

Lil Wayne, who has won a plethora of music awards over the years, became a Packers fan following the the team’s Super Bowl win in 1997 over the New England Patriots in his hometown of New Orleans.

“My pops went to the Super Bowl and, when he came home, he had a bunch of Green Bay everything: towels, cups and all that type of stuff. … I had to use that cup every day and use that towel every other day, so I became a Packer fan like that,” he told the NFL Network in 2017.

“I was blessed by the best team in the world,” he said in a social media clip, surrounded by his Packers memorabilia in his home. “I just want to say thank you from the bottom, the top, of my heart, everything. You already know that’s my team forever, and ever, and ever.”

Lil Wayne is more than just a casual fan who comes to some games.

He incorporates the team into his music.

Lil Wayne put together a “Green and Yellow” anthem in 2011 during the Packers’ run to the Super Bowl and then he remixed it in 2021.
