The Pittsburgh Steelers have released offensive lineman Mason Cole, ending the veteran’s two-year stretch as their starting center, the team announced.

Cole signed with the Steelers in 2022 and has started all 34 games for the Steelers over the last two seasons, playing center after arriving from his single year with the Minnesota Vikings. After snapping issues this past year, it was questioned whether or not the team would look for a replacement in the offseason. They’ll now begin their search.
