Breaking: Oregon set land another 27 year old worth $12 million in 2025 recruiting class

There hasn’t been a lot of news to track surrounding Oregon recruiting of late, but top targets across the country are setting unofficial and official trips for when the dead period ends and travel essentially reopens.

Michael Fasusi, Lewisville, Offensive Tackle

2025 Lewisville (Tex.) offensive tackle Michael Fasusi will visit Oregon on April 17, according to a report from Sam Spiegelman of On3 Sports.

Fasusi was scheduled to visit Oregon earlier this year and told Ducks Digest that he would be rescheduling his trip for a later date. Spiegelman also reported that he’s set to take trips to big-time programs like LSU, Texas and Oklahoma this spring as he vets his options for college football.

Listed at 6’4″, 285 pounds, Fasusi is ranked the No. 15 player nationally, the No. 2 offensive tackle and he No. 4 recruit in the state of Texas for the 2025 cycle according to the 247Sports Composite.

The Texas product has spoken highly of the Ducks in the past and his April trip to Eugene right before Oregon wraps up spring practice won’t be his time on campus.

Head Coach Dan Lanning and offensive coordinator Will Stein were a dynamic duo that helped lead Oregon to an 11-win season last year and are a big part of why the Ducks are a contender for the big-time offensive lineman.

“Coach Lanning, he’s fun, he’s energetic,” Fasusi told Ducks Digest in a recent interview. “Coach Stein, I don’t really know much about him, but basically what I’ve seen on TV, he’s a mastermind, an offensive mastermind. That’s about all you need right there.”

The Ducks have yet to secure a verbal commitment from an offensive lineman in the 2025 recruiting class, but it’s fair to say Fasusi is the most decorated player they’re going after at his position this cycle.
