NEW DELHI: In response to his horse-collar tackle of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy during Super Bowl LVIII, Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Nick Bolton has been fined $8,238 by the NFL.
The Chiefs’ exciting 25-22 overtime triumph in Las Vegas on February 11 was marred by a 15-yard penalty following the incident that happened in the second quarter.

While Chiefs cornerback L’Jarius Sneed received a personal foul for unnecessary roughness during the game, he did not incur a fine.
In a standout performance during the Super Bowl, Bolton, 23, tied with San Francisco’s Fred Warner for the game-high with 13 tackles. Additionally, Bolton contributed one tackle for loss and delivered two quarterback hits against the 49ers.
