It’s not every day that the biggest admirer of something wins. Thankfully, Tom Grassi, a social studies teacher at a high school, proved it to be untrue when he won the NFL Fan of the Year award for being the largest fan of the Green Bay Packers.

When the Green Bay Packers won their 13th NFL championship on February 6, 2011, Grossi’s journey as a fan began. Grossi’s journey began with that performance, despite the fact that it was just a lighthearted jest about his father’s Dallas Cowboys fandom.

He was a sophomore at the State University of New York at the time. Grossi went over and beyond to show his passion for the Packers by yelling his affection for them aloud for everyone to hear following the team’s historic Super Bowl victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

“Everyone knows I’m a Packers fan because I’m the only one there and I’m loud,” Grossi remarked. “I was the only fan in New Paltz.” “I’m yelling and loosing my voice.

Grossi’s devotion to the team has increased tenfold since then. The NFL has noticed that he has now done more than enough for the Green Bay Packers team.

Tom Grossi explains how being the biggest fan of the Green Bay Packers helped him win NFL Fan of the Year.

Grossi details his journey to become the NFL Fan of the Year in an article that appears on the team’s official website.

To begin with, Grossi has made use of his passion for the Packers by producing a podcast on the team and amassing over 600,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel. In addition, he started a number of altruistic endeavors that came together to become the well-known 30 in 30 campaign, which helped St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and its patients raise over $500,000.

As a result, the NFL surprised Grossi by asking him to visit their New York headquarters with the intention of documenting the history of the Packers with their supporters. Rather than going for that reason, Grossi was told he was selected by league commissioner Roger Goodell when they met.
