Early 2024 Philadelphia Eagles Draft Targets From Expert Analysts | Yardbarker

Now that most of the coaching staff is in place, fans and the Eagles are beginning to focus on the offseason. The NFL Draft, which is one of the most important offseason events, has been gaining increasing attention earlier in the process. A number of knowledgeable analysts have released their first mock drafts of the season, and they have some intriguing choices for the Eagles. Even though the Eagles are still early in the draft, it can still be beneficial to consider these options. In terms of internal team decisions and free agency, the Eagles still have a lot on their plate. However, let’s take a look at some probable Eagles Draft picks who analysts think could wind up in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia Eagles Draft Targets via Expert Mock Drafts

Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma

Daniel Jeremiah’s mock draft dropped an interesting take on who the Eagles might select in April. He mocked the talented Oklahoma offensive tackle, Tyler Guyton, to the Eagles with the 22nd pick. Guyton has gotten a lot of buzz after a strong performance at the Senior Bowl. He’s a massive tackle with great length and athleticism. He has all the unteachable traits an elite offensive tackle needs and has also gotten an endorsement from Lane Johnson as well. However, for an Eagles team that crashed down the stretch, would it be wise to spend their first-round pick on a player who might not see the field much in 2024? It would be another pick to solidify the future of the Eagles but can be negative in the short term. For what it’s worth, ESPN’s Mel Kiper also mocked an offensive tackle in Taliese Fuaga to the Eagles as well.

Cornerback: Kool-aid Mckinstry, Alabama, Quinyon Mitchell, Toledo, Nate Wiggins, Clemson and More

By far the most popular position for the Eagles in expert mock drafts is cornerback, and there’s a plethora to choose from. Kool-aid McKinstry, Quinyon Mitchell, Nate Wiggins, Terrion Arnold (Alabama), and Kamari Lassiter (Georgia) have all been mocked to the Eagles. It’s no surprise, as the Eagles secondary heavily struggled throughout the season. Younger players in Kelee Ringo and Eli Ricks could become quality starters, but cornerback should still be a big Eagles draft target. As for what corner the Eagles might select, the NFL combine could help clear the picture of who will be there for the Eagles to take. Kool-aid McKinstry and Nate Wiggins seem to be the ones most likely to be there for the Eagles at this point of the process. However, keep an eye on T.J. Tampa from Iowa State as well.

Philadelphia Eagles Draft Needs for 2023

Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State

The Eagles may pursue a third wide receiver, higher than most people believe, with Kellen Moore. Ryan Wilson made fun of Florida State wide receiver Keon Coleman, who was selected by the Eagles, in a series of CBS Sports Mock Drafts. Large wide receiver Keon Coleman possesses genuine athleticism. In college, he consistently produced highlight-reel plays and, in terms of raw athletic talent, he reminds me a lot of George Pickens. He does, however, struggle with running routes and identifying corners. A receiver selected in the first round by the Eagles is intriguing, regardless of whether Coleman is selected. Although the Eagles don’t really need a receiver in the draft, adding one in a loaded class might have enormous advantages for the offense.
