Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Micah Parsons, who won the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2021, recently showed his appreciation for Dan Quinn, the former defensive coordinator.

Quinn joined the Washington Commanders recently and will begin the 2017 season with them. The linebacker goes on to say that Quinn will be leading the Commanders, who have been perennial challengers in the NFC East division, for the upcoming season is a blessing.

Quinn was the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons from 2015 to 2020 before joining the Cowboys team in 2021–2023. From 2013 to 2014, he served as the defensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks.

Despite winning the NFC East, the Dallas Cowboys were defeated by the Green Bay Packers. They were defeated by Green Bay in the playoff wild-card round. In addition, Parsons added a humorous touch to the defensive coordinator’s revelation by saying, “may take me with him.”

“Very happy for him, not because he went to a rival, but because, as I mentioned, Q is a big uncle for me,” he added. I am aware of his feelings toward me and the things he desired to take. He spent as much time as he could with me, but I realize that any squad that has him is fortunate.
