Looking to invest £40 million to acquire one of Europe’s “best wide playmakers” in Maddison.

The Liverpool team is keeping an eye on this promising player.

With the exception of the regular injuries and Mohamed Salah and Wataru Endo’s absences for international duty this month, there isn’t much to be upset about at Liverpool right now as Jurgen Klopp’s team is playing brilliantly.

Leading the Premier League after 20 games, there is increasing confidence that Klopp’s Anfield team may win their second league title under his direction. They are also advancing to the Carabao Cup semifinals and the Europa League knockout round.

While Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo’s additions over the past two years suggest that business could be done this month, the Reds’ decision to make sweeping changes last summer makes it unlikely that anything drastic will happen. The team last chose not to bolster the ranks in January 2019.
