Breaking: Steven Naismith reveals Hearts starlet loan decision as defender joins SPFL club.

Steven Naismith has confirmed the decision to loan Bailey Dall to Stirling Albion.

The young defender performed well for the Jambos’ B squad last season under Liam Fox as they competed in the Lowland League, but the 20-year-old is now ready for the next step in his development after more than 50 games. He is joining the Binos alongside former Hearts defender Alan Maybury, and Naismith indicated that this will allow him to play in the first team.

The head coach will keep an eye on the left-back throughout his spell at Forthbank, as he is expected to return to Tynecastle next year in a better position.

“This is a good opportunity for Bailey,” Naismith stated on the club’s website. “He’s been performing regularly in the Lowland League for several seasons, and now it’s time to take the next step.

“Getting those first-team minutes comes from practicing hard with Stirling and producing performances that keep him in the team, allowing him to return to us the following summer as a better player.

“It’s a good challenge for him and one where we’ll follow his progress closely.”
